Jonathan is finally over the chicken pox. He got to go back to school today after being out for 2 weeks, and boy was he ever ready to go back. He only had 6 chicken pox, but the last one took forever to get rid of. It was the first to show up and the last to go away, and it was the biggest out of all of them. Joshua never ended up getting them(yet), the spots that he had were just a rash. So hopefully he won't get them and will be able to get his shot in a couple of months.

THE CHICKEN POX HAS HIT OUR HOUSE!
JONATHAN HAS COME DOWN WITH A MILD CASE(SO FAR) OF THE CHICKEN POX, EVEN THOUGH HE HAS HAD THE CHICKEN POX SHOT AT LEAST ONCE, MAYBE TWICE. HE WOKE UP TUESDAY WITH 2 BIG POX ON HIS ARM, AND THEN AFTER HAVING A BATH LATER IN THE MORNING HE HAD 2 MORE ON HIS LEG. SO WE RAN OUT TO THE DOCTOR WHO SAID THAT THE ONE ON HIS ARM DEFINATLY LOOKED LIKE A CHICKEN POX. THEN LAST NIGHT WE FOUND A COUPLE MORE SMALL ONES ON HIM SO HOPEFULLY THAT IS ALL HE WILL HAVE. BESIDES HAVE A RUNNY NOSE HE ACTS COMPLETLY NORMAL EXCEPT FOR BEING A LITTLE CRANKY AND A LITTLE MORE TIRED THAN NORMAL.
JOSHUA MAY ALSO HAVE A MILD CASE OF THE CHICKEN POX. ON TUESDAY WE FOUND SEVERAL SMALL SPOTS ON HIM AS WELL, WITH MORE SHOWING UP YESTERDAY. WE ARE WORRIED ABOUT HIM GETTING IT WORSE BECAUSE HE HASN'T HAD THE CHICKEN POX SHOT YET.
LUCKILY NEITHER OF THE BOYS HAVE SPOTS ON THIER FACES YET. BOTH HAVE RUN A TEMP ON AND OFF SINCE TUESDAY NIGHT. EXCEPT FOR BEING PALE, HAVING A RUNNY NOSE AND BEING TIRED , THEY ACT OK AND PLAY LIKE NORMAL.

We had fun with the boys New Years eve. They both took naps so they both stayed up tilt well after midnight. About 11:45 pm we got the pinata out for Jonathan to do. We did this last year too when it was just us at home in Texas, and Jonathan remembered it so we had to do it again this year. Joshua loved all the chocolate that was in it!
