Jonathan fell off the slide.

Some of you know this already because you got called, but I thought I would update the rest of you. Yesterday around 2:10pm Jonathan took a fall from the top of the slide(between a 9 and 12 ft fall) hit his head on the metal stairs half way down and then continued to fall to the ground where he hit the other side of his forehead. He immediatly started crying, so the fall didn't knock him out at all. We took him to the ER here in Harper where they wanted to do a Cat Scan, but after trying to sedate him 3 times to do the scan, Jonathan would still not go to sleep. So they said that we could go ahead and go home, or try some more meds to sedate him. But the doctor was feeling safe enough to let us go because we had been there for about 3 1/2 hours and Jonathan was acting fine. So they told us to continue to watch him and to come back if he started having anything wrong. They wanted us to wake him every 1 to 2 hours through the night and check his eyes, and he did good through the night. He finally went to sleep about 11:30 last night. We had to keep him from doing anything yesterday, and probably will keep it pretty low key today also. He has 3 goose eggs and bruises on his head and forehead, and a bruise on his arm, and one scrape. We praise God that he watched over Jonathan and kept him safe, and from getting hurt any worse than he did!
We will update again and let you know how he is doing.
